About Us
Owners Henry and Karen Fratarcangeli purchased Alliger's Tavern located in Sayre, Pennsylvania in 1983.  Shortly after they incorporated and Alliger's House of Wings, Inc was born.  The same year Henry introduced chicken wings to "The Valley Area" in three flavors: mild, medium and hot using his own unique blend of ingredients. About two years later, Barbeque and South sauces were added to the sauce line up. Since then an additional twenty sauce flavors have been added, bringing the total number of unique sauces to 26!!!!That's right 26 different flavors of chicken wings!!!

In the Twin Tiers, it is said that Alliger's House of Wings has "the best chicken wings around".  Henry attributes this to using only the finest ingredients.  Alliger's uses Canola oil to cook its wings, which is low in saturated fat and carbohydrates. In fact Alliger's has been using Canola oil for the last ten years and prior to that used non trans-fat cooking oil since 1983 when they began cooking chicken wings  This was long before it was fashionable to use  low trans-fat cooking oil. Another secret Henry is willing to share, the oil must be cleaned and changed often.  The oil is thoroughly cleaned every day and is completely changed every three days. Alliger's House of Wings does have "the best Wings Around".

At the urging of customers in 1990, Alliger's House of Wings, began bottling 9 of its sauces: Barbeque, Cajun, Garlic, Honey Mustard, Hot, Kamakaze, Nuclear, South, and Singapore.  These sauces are available for sale in 8oz bottles or 1 gallon jugs at several retail stores, online and of course at Alliger's House of Wings in Sayre, Pennsylvania.

Alliger's House of Wings, Inc continues to be a family owned and operated business   The House of Wings features 26 unique flavors of chicken wing sauces. All of Alliger's House of Wings Sauces are made on the premises using closely guarded family recipes.
